2009 Solo Team Competition

NWR TEAM COMPETITION RULES

1. Team Make-up -- 4 members, all permanent (no new members during season).
   1. Team members may change classes.
   2. TO” and “NOV” class competitors not allowed.
      
      
2. Scoring
   1. At each event, total of best 3 members’ points are tallied.
   2. Teams can discard their worst event performance (e.g., keep 7 of 8)
   3. Members’ points are earned by position in class:

   4. Class winners are limited to 9 points if there is only one other competitor in their class; and 7 points if they are uncontested.
   5. If fewer than 3 members of a team are present at an event, one ‘virtual’ member will be counted, whose points and penalties will be the equivalent of the lowest scoring of all the opposing teams’ members.
   6. 2 bonus points at each event to team with fewest penalty seconds.
