PRE EVENT

 
  CONFIRM OR OBTAIN INSURANCE & SANCTION FROM SCCA NAT’L OFFICE and send copy of Insurance certificate & Hold Harmless to Boeing when applicable. Contact Gretchen Everett (Gever18022@aol.com - 425-277-6044) to confirm.

    The event Chair finds a reporter.  Articles are submitted to Kurt Batdorf kurtbatdorf@earthlink.net.
    "We'd like to see an event article in NWSCN for every autocross we hold.  This is very important."
 
 
  • ARRANGE FOR BUS DRIVER!
    The Solo bus needs to be driven by an approved driver.  Contact:

  ARRANGE FOR SANI-CANS (Need one to be handicapped accessible)
  * NOTE: at BMP, Sani-cans are already on site and included in our rental."

  * Generator Gas

Be sure to keep the receipts and turn them into the event chair for reimbursement.

 
  GENERATE EVENT INSTRUCTION SHEETS (Have them at registration table)  
  ARRANGE FOR CONCESSION/FOOD (optional - Bremerton: Killer Bee's INC. specializing in "BAR BEE QUE" - Ken Barron - 360-551-2695)  
  DASH PLAQUES/Vinyl Trophy Cones
and Base Decals 

These are located in the solo bus.   Contact Reuters of Victory Awards (425-883-7907) if more supplies are needed.

 
  ARRANGE A POST-EVENT GATHERING SPOT

For some places, call up to a week before so they can schedule people to work. For others, call the afternoon of the event to let them know when to expect us.

  DELEGATE OR AUDIT SCORESHEETS/TIME CARDS (which includes indexed class calculations) AFTER EACH HEAT in preparation for trophy presentation. Assign someone, or do this yourself.  
  CONDUCT TROPHY PRESENTATION

AM: 15 minutes after morning run groups are completed (approx 12:45)

PM: At conclusion of event and always prior to any fun runs!

 
  Event should be COMPLETE (including cleanup) by 5:00.
