NWR of SCCA presents
Packwood ProSolo Series
Presented by:

NWR ProSolo series rules:

The series will consist of three events, the two Regional ProSolo events and the National ProSolo event.

In order to trophy, an entrant must attend at least two events.
Points will be awarded at the following rate: 1st – 20, 2nd – 16, 3rd – 13, 4th – 11, 5th – 9, 6th – 7, 7th – 6, …

For the purpose of series scoring, entrants who have not attended at least one other event will be removed from scoring in the results from the National ProSolo. (this does not affect the results published by SCCA for the national prosolo, only the series results)

Points will accrue at all three events, i.e. no drop. Series ties will be broken by indexed placement at the National ProSolo.

Open classes will use NWR classing. Ladies classes will use L1 and L2 as classified by the National series. Trophies are TBD. If trophies are given, depth will be based on normal methods.

National ProSolo Indexes will be used. An additional index of .970 will be applied for Street Tire classes for the purpose of entry into the challenge rounds.

Event operations:

  • Entrants will receive 8 runs, 4 on each side.

  • Class points will be based on those runs.
    Challenge

  • Three challenges will be operated (Open, Bonus and Ladies).

  • Entry into the Open and Ladies challenges will be based on Indexed time.

  • The dial in for each driver will be half the total time, un-indexed to their class, of the class winner.

  • The Bonus challenge entrants will be selected by random draw from those not qualifying for the Open and Ladies challenges.

  • Bonus challenge entrants will use their class times as their dial-in.

  • Size of each challenge is TBD, but will be no more than half the number of entrants eligible. Nominal size will be 32, 8 and 8. The size of the challenge may be adjusted to the time available.

Notes:
Points from the National ProSolo will be based on indexed time regardless of condition changes.

Conditions may change from group to group, but times will be indexed and used for scoring anyway. The hope is that there will be at least one dry session for each competitor, so make them count.

Ladies who run in a regular regional class such as S3, and run in a L1 at the national ProSolo will accrue points for S3 based on their times in L1.

Rules are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the organizers.

If for some reason we are unable to score all three events, we will score based on the events held.
