2006 San Diego NT

NWR grabs 13 wins at the San Diego NT.

Friday had a few afternoon showers during the practice course, but it was nice again for the Friday evening welcome party. San Diego region did well with great NWR style beer and catered food! Sat and Sunday brought clear and dry runs for all with temps in the mid 60's.

	The NWR sent down the ES "wreaking crew" with a wopping five entrants in the open class and 4 in the Ladies class. That's a lot for one class! Fast Mike (Mike Lillejord) earned his nick name by edging out Kevin Deitz for the win in ES.
The Fordahls ran strong in their 944 on Hoosiers. Greg took 3rd, and Jodi owned ESL and posted the fastest ES time for both open and ladies on Sunday! Way to go Jodi. ...who says them Hoosiers aren't competitive!
	Team Zebra ran strong and it look like Kevin Dietz was going to win ES, but the cones kept him from the win. Carl ran to strong 5th place finish. NWR grab 5 or the 6 trophies in ES!
It wasn't all ES fun. Sean Green (shown) and Scott Miller drove well in the TR6 in FSP!
	Anna Goeke had some fast times, but cone problems kept her from defending her national title in San Diego against the same ladies she bested back in Topeka in September.
