Shelbi Zigler comes from behind to win her first
national championship! Shelbi did it on her final run of
the event and took the class by around 0.5 seconds! Shelbi
Zigler had very good competition and ended Kyung Wooton’s
five-year run of C Stock Ladies. Shelby trailed after the first
day of competition, but was nearly a second faster on the second
day east course. Shelbi was co driving in Kristi Ennesser
Solstice along with Kristi, Kevin, and Fast Mike. |
 |
Kevin Dietz also gets his first national championship
in the Kristi Ennesser Solstice. Kevin dominated
the class both days and won by a whopping 1.1 seconds.
This Solstice took both the open and ladies national
championships! |
 |
Kristi Brown wins HSL! She joins her husband
Keith as one of the few and the proud NWR members to win a Solo national championship. |
 |
Anna Goeke wins BSL for her third national
championship. This is also two in a row for her for she won in
2005 as well. Annika was very proud of mommy's win :-) |
 |
Angela Moffet add's yet another SM2 national
championship to her mantle. Sportscar magazine got this
one right! |
 |
Jodi Fordahl stomps ESL for her 8th national
championship. She had it on her second run on Friday and
took a victory run on her third run, and took yet another 0.9
seconds off to win by 2.4 seconds! Here times would have
done very well in the open class. There was talk about how she
has been forbidden or "banned" from running in the open class.
Way to go Jodi :-) |
