Where is the future?

We have been following articles in the Kitsap Sun about all the happenings around the track. Besides the trees being removed the building of the SKIA Road has had a major impact on the autocrossers, mostly BSCC and their revetment. We will try to keep up with all the published articles in the Sun but please email us if we miss something. Webmaster

After being assured that the Park will have a 2011 season and Stimulus money will probably not be available to finish the road news is rumbling again about the SKIA Road phases. The Port of Bremerton has been awarded $366,275 from the Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Transit Administration to begin planning and design of Phase II of the SKIA Connector Rd.  A meeting will be held to 9am October 6, 2010 in the Port of Bremerton Offices (at the airport) for a Bremerton Motorsports Park Study Session.
