Come watch the rally but follow safety rules:
1. To ensure the safety of all spectators and competitors, spectators will not be allowed complete freedom of movement along the course. Spectators watching the rally must do so at designated spectator areas. Spectators should not try to view the event at any other areas on the rally course. To do so may risk having that particular stage disqualified for safety reasons.
2. Remember, even when spectating in designated areas, no location is totally safe. You spectate at your own risk.
3. Do not block the spectator access roads. They may be required for emergency vehicles to access the course.
4. Always listen for an approaching rally car when crossing the course. Some cars do not have very loud exhaust systems and may be closer than you realize. If a car has blocked the road up the course (often noticeable by a large time gap between cars), the next few cars may be bunched up as they come through the stage. Look and listen.
5. Yield to rally competitors while driving the roads into spectator areas; they're on their way to the next stage start. But do this only when you can do so safely.
6. Respect and follow the safety marshal's advice and directions. They are following strict rules; if they ask you to move, please do so. They are concerned for the safety of both spectators and competitors, and want to ensure a fun rally for everyone.
7. Do not litter. Please take your litter out of the forest with you. How our spectators and competitors treat this rally course affects our continued use of the land.
8. Prepare yourself for the weather. Part of the rally experience is that the great outdoors is our arena. Thus, spectators should plan accordingly. Dress warmly and wear good, durable footwear for negotiating underbrush and fallen trees. Umbellas, blankets, lawn chairs and refreshments are also important items to bring along. Have plenty of fuel in your vehicle - it's a long way from home out there!
