The Oregon Trail Divisional PRO Rally

EVENT:

The Oregon Trail Divisional PRO Rally is sanctioned and organized by the Northwest Region of the Sports Car Club of America and promoted by the Oregon Rally Group. The event qualifies for the 1997 Northern Pacific Division and the 1997 Northwest Region championships for drivers and co-drivers. The event will adhere to 1997 National and Divisional PRO Rally Rules for Organizers for a Co-Efficient 3 and supplements thereto.

ENTRY:

Entry requires a pre-paid entry fee of $185 before 10:00 am June 7, valid state drivers license for both driver and co-driver, valid SCCA National or Divisional PRO Rally license for both driver and co-driver, valid vehicle registration and insurance, and a completed entry form. Checks for the entry fee should be made payable to Northwest Region SCCA and mailed to:

Competitors will use their 1997 assigned car numbers and run in Regional Classes 1, 2, 3, and Rally Lite.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

This event will use the normal stage format utilizing FIA signage and timing system (details of which will be in the supplemental instructions or in a Driver's Bulletin). The event will be based at Vernonia High School in Vernonia, Oregon. Registration, scrutineering, and the rally start will take place at that location. There will also be scrutineering Friday night in Forest Grove. Each entrant will run seven stages, all of which will be scored. Competitors will finish in Forest Grove, Oregon. The event will run 72 stage miles with a total distance of approximately 140 miles. All stages will be on gravel. There will be one service location. Awards will be given to both driver and co-driver first through third in each regional class, and first in each Divisional class.
