Rallylite (limited cc) Production Class Rules

PURPOSE: The Rallylite Production Class is intended to provide a venue for rewarding car preparation
and driver skill. Engine size and modifications to both the engine and car are limited.

DRIVER SEEDING: This class will be known as Class Four in Northwest Region rallies. Competitors, for
starting order purposes will be classed in the Divisional Classes One, Two, and Three and the usual
considerations for starting order will be followed. It is recommended that novices run in Class Three initially
and then switch to Class Four. Drivers must declare their intent to compete in this class "clearly" on their
entry form. Drivers may compete in one class only per event.

CAR ELIGIBILITY AND PREPARATION: Any car eligible and prepared under SCCA National PRO
Rally Rules with the following exceptions and limitations:

A. ENGINE: The engine must be advertised by the manufacturer as 1500cc or less. Destroked larger motors
are not allowed. The maximum overbore is .040 from factory specs.

B. PISTONS: Pistons must be stock or flattop. No doomed pistons except for manufacturers original
equipment for that specific engine.

C. CAMSHAFT: Free.

D. HEADS: No more than three valves per cylinder.

E. INDUCTION: Limited to the original equipment carburetor or fuel injection, two (2) one and one half inch
(1 1/2) S. U. type carburetors found on some European and Japanese motors, DG/DF style Weber, Holley/
Weber Solex downdraft carburetors. No turbocharging or sidedraft Weber, Delorto, or Mikuni carburetors
are allowed.

F. EXHAUST: Free, but must comply SCCA National PRO Rally Rules.

G. COACHWORK: The car must run with glass windows (no lexan) . Bodywork must be steel (hood, fenders,
trunk, etc.) unless different material is installed as original equipment by the factory.

H. CHASSIS: Chassis and engine must be of the same manufacturer, any legal engine is allowed in any legal car
(ie: a Mazda GLC 1500cc engine could be installed in a RX-7 or 626 chassis or a Datsun 510 could run with a
A-14 Datsun motor) .

I. SUSPENSION: Free, but must be the same type as original manufacturers equipment (ie: leaf must remain
leaf and coil must remain coil) .

J. DRIVETRAIN: Free, except the car must remain the same type (ie: front wheel drive must remain front wheel
drive, etc.) .

K. TIRES: Free, but must meet SCCA National PRO Rally Rules.

INNOVATION: It will be assumed that if a car is entered in this class it is legal. All cars will be subject to protest
and teardown. Claims against another car must be made as described in the SCCA National PRO Rally Rulebook.
The event Steward may chose to have any top finisher inspected for compliance with these Rules. A car found in
violation will be subject to the penalties described in the SCCA National PRO Rally Rulebook.
