------------------------------------------------
A date at Bremerton Motorsports Park (BMP) recently opened up and NWR SCCA Drift was able to take advantage of this and has scheduled a drift event on Friday, May 30.
We will be the only ones using the track and that means we’re setting up course on the ‘Big’ end. This is likely the only drift event this year that will uses the prime south end of BMP and the course will be long and challenging!
Ditch work and come out for a full day (9 hours worth) of drifting!
Event Quick Info
Time: 7:30 am registration, Drivers Meeting at 8:30 am, End at 5pm
Location: Bremerton Motorsports Park
Driver Cap: 40
Event Chair: Russell O'Connell ( umai.kakudoATgmailDOTcom )
Cost:
- $60 for SCCA Members (Don’t forget your membership card)
- $75 for Non SCCA Members (You can join online – Use Region Code: Northwest Region - #027.)
Registration
Pre-registration is required for this event, NO on-site registration
Due to current SCCA insurance limitations you must be 18 years old or older to drive in this event.
This is a non-spectator event for drivers only. The SCCA has specific rules and requirements that must be met to allow spectators at events. Since we do not have sufficient resources to meet these rules this event will be for drivers and pit crew (no gangs of friends) only. If you plan on bringing a pit person to help you they must also register to be allowed in the gate and will be required to help work the course as needed.
Rules
Well, here they are:
- SCCA Drift Rules (Yes – these 2007 rules are the current ruleset)
- NWR SCCA Regional Supplemental Rules
Prior to attending be sure to read both of these rules so you know what is expected of you and how the event will be run. Regardless of whether you read them they will be enforced so it is best to educate your self to avoid any situation that could potentially end your day early.
Notes
