AM and PM run orders!
There are 3 important
changes to the run order. The first one affects who runs
in morning and afternoon run groups.
1. AM and PM run orders have CHANGED!
They do not alternate every other event. They run as follows: Event #1 Bremerton AM=NonStock PM=Stock Event #2 Packwood AM= Event #3 Bremerton AM= Event #4 Packwood AM= Event #6 Bremerton AM= Event #8 Bremerton
Reasoning: In an effort to balance out the season
based on location for Stock and Non-Stock drivers, the run-group order of who drives AM and who
drives PM for each event. In the past, we have rotated simply
with a “stock drivers run in the afternoon for even numbered
events, and non-stock on odd numbered events” method. Problem
was that was each year one group was unfairly getting more
events at Packwood (a longer drive and overnight stay for most
competitors) in the afternoon preventing double-entry
opportunities.
2. In order to have our events be in greater compliance with
national standards, we are going to be enforcing sound levels on
cars with a sound meter. National events will be strictly
enforcing a 100db sound level on cars and testing
regularly. The region is acquiring a sound meter and will
discuss the process, testing and enforcement online and at
drivers meetings when we have the meter in hand. Official
enforcement at our regional events
will give drivers plenty of time to make
refinements in setup so they won’t have any issues at the
Packwood
National Tour and ProSolo in the summer.
